I’m late on the post, but I love this beat. And, everybody went in on their verses. Good to see new groupings in Hip Hop- brings out a new side for the fans to enjoy. Music has been over saturated with monster feature records over the last couple of years (thanks DJ Khaled) but it’s special when you have guys like Banks, Kanye, Fab, Swizz & Ryan on one record. First, they’re all very accomplished guys and they always get better. A lot of artists either digress or become stagnant in their careers because they can’t do it better than the last time, so to speak or can’t fit in with the constantly changing roster of rappers dominating the charts. I’m getting philosophical today, lol. It’s just nice to see the friendly competition bring out the best in people on a song. Reminds me of the good old days when people wanted to stand out when it came to their verse. Blah, blah! You know the rest- listen if you haven’t and definitely get that HFM2

Most of you heard my reaction to Kanye West’s outburst during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech via twitter. SHOCKED!!! How do you steal someone’s shine so blatently? The girl was on the verge of tears and this rainbow chaser snatches her mic and says Beyonce had the best video. LOL. Sounds like someone is wearing a leotard under their skinny jeans. Bottom line is- this is not the Kanye West awards- no one gives a FUCK what you think. I’m still appalled….

Beyonce did the noble thing and let Taylor have a second shot at accepting her first moonman. I will say that Young Swift did not reciprocate the gesture with an appropriate “thanks” to B after she tried to right a wrong. Anyhow, overall- these were the best VMA’s I’ve seen in a long time. Wish Janet did a little more for the MJ tribute but I think we can all understand why she didn’t.
