Fabolous talks about Loso’s Way, Trending Topics & 50 Cent

This was a really cool interview for me. He’s one of the rappers I “came to age” with, I guess you could say. He represents my generation. When I was finishing up my senior year in college, I was interning at WJMN Boston and I worked the annual Monster Jam Concert. I was responsible for bringing artists from the Green Room to the Press Room and I remember how down to earth and soft spoken Fab was. Not that we had a convo at all. LOL. I just got that vibe. It’s crazy how people you don’t even know like that become a part of your story. Who knew one day I would be interviewing him? I didn’t. Anyhow, I would just like to say sometimes I say things in a mean way but I don’t really mean it so viciously as it may come across. I’m trying to learn how to be more cautious of how I say things, not necessarily what I say. I think you guys appreciate me for me realness but at the same time I don’t want to come across as killing people on the show. Unless you can tell I’m doing it deliberately. I’d like to clear up my Jadakiss comment about the record “Why?” being ‘cliche.’ I just didn’t like that record. It felt like he was trying too hard to get into the mainstream when his street anthems already did that. It didn’t feel natural to me. I’m your best and worst fan when I super fuck with you. I hold super high standards and expect you to hold them. LOL. I’m passionate about my music, what can I say? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jada after we interviewed him. He is one of the only artists that made me love him even more after getting a chance to chop it up. It’s usually the other way around.
