King Model/Rapper SHAKUR talks Drake, Egypt and her new rock!

Part 1: King Model Shakur talks about how she got into Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” video, being Egyptian and how she acts and dresses when she’s around her people. She also talks about her workout regime. Is it Real? Is it Fake? Is it from the “prison man workout?”
Part 2:Shakur talks about her rap career and how she linked up with Kanye West and Will IAM. She says she’s separated herself from the other “video models” with her prior experience and training in music and theater. She tells us that a lot of other models are jealous and hateful of her position. She also says that she was also shot for the cover of King Magazine but Rosa Acosta got it because she is a true “video girl.” Shakur gives her side about “Best I Ever Had” video and talks about the rumors of Kanye “sabotaging” Drake’s momentum with a visual that wasn’t as momentous as the song was.
Part 3:Shakur plays TRT’s infamous game, Smash or Pass and spits a freestyle! She would SMASH 50 cent, Kobe Bryant & Lebron James! She even weighs in on Kobe’s rape case. She also thinks its “not within a man’s make-up to stay with one woman.” She also says that she’s a video game head!!!!

This was a really cool interview for me. He’s one of the rappers I “came to age” with, I guess you could say. He represents my generation. When I was finishing up my senior year in college, I was interning at WJMN Boston and I worked the annual Monster Jam Concert. I was responsible for bringing artists from the Green Room to the Press Room and I remember how down to earth and soft spoken Fab was. Not that we had a convo at all. LOL. I just got that vibe. It’s crazy how people you don’t even know like that become a part of your story. Who knew one day I would be interviewing him? I didn’t. Anyhow, I would just like to say sometimes I say things in a mean way but I don’t really mean it so viciously as it may come across. I’m trying to learn how to be more cautious of how I say things, not necessarily what I say. I think you guys appreciate me for me realness but at the same time I don’t want to come across as killing people on the show. Unless you can tell I’m doing it deliberately. I’d like to clear up my Jadakiss comment about the record “Why?” being ‘cliche.’ I just didn’t like that record. It felt like he was trying too hard to get into the mainstream when his street anthems already did that. It didn’t feel natural to me. I’m your best and worst fan when I super fuck with you. I hold super high standards and expect you to hold them. LOL. I’m passionate about my music, what can I say? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jada after we interviewed him. He is one of the only artists that made me love him even more after getting a chance to chop it up. It’s usually the other way around.

I believe, to really know Hip-Hop- you have to know other genres of music. Everything comes from something. Hip Hop is heavily influenced by the likes of Rock, Motown, Reggae, Blues, Jazz, Disco and even Classical! If you aren’t looking deep enough into the music you won’t realize these things. People have forgotten about the elements that comprise the culture. It’s not just about a dance and a catchy chorus folks! That’s like going to a museum, looking at a painting but not knowing who made it and what mediums they used to create it. You’re not leaving yourself with anything but a vision. Wouldn’t you want to know how that vision came about? I do. I’m curious, nosey, interested- whatever you want to call it. I want to know what influenced that person to create such a piece of art. But, in today’s world- it seems like we rarely get deeper than the mostly redundant and meaningless words that dominate the airwaves of Hip Hop.
Just so we don’t forget that everything has an origin- here’s some records that have sampled/referenced Teddy Pendergrass. It’s SICK how much “Love T.K.O” has been used! I’m just gonna post one!

So, it seems as if Tiger Wood’s witch hunt set off groupies across the country! This chick Vanessa Lopez might be employed by Gloria Allred. I’m serious folks, this could be a new form of business. Get chicks involved with men of public stature, fuck up their lives and take their money. Gloria is Vanessa’s lawyer and many of Tiger’s alleged mistresses. Coincidence? I think not.
Here’s the story: Vanessa Lopez is a model living in Florida. She says she was having an affair with Shaquille O’Neil for 5 years. Recently, she claims that she told Shaq she was pregnant and his response was not what she was looking for. She claims that made her cut all ties with the All-Star. SURE! You got the boot! I digress. LOL. So, this chick is saying she’s scared for her life and is looking over her shoulder when she’s walking down the street. Sounds like a good start for a lawsuit right? WRONG! lol Now, reports have surfaced stating that Vanessa not only had relations w/ Shaq, but other NBA stars like Kenyon Martin, Delonte West and J.J. Reddick. It gets even BETTER though! She filed the same harrassment charges against them, that she’s charging Shaq with!
