Seasonal Hosting: Apple Cider Martinis (hot or cold)

This one comes from the brain of my sister, Daria. LOL. We were feeling the Fall air while shopping at an outdoor fresh market and decided that we needed a seasonal drink to complete our relaxing weekend at home. We picked up a half gallon of homemade cider and headed to the Liquor store for some vodka.

Check out these easy directions for a simple, delicious Fall beverage for entertaining or just yourself!

You can make this hot or cold! Add some whip cream to garnish and turn it into a dessert!

Things You’ll Need:

  • Apple Cider
  • Vodka
  • Ice
  • Martini Shaker (or two cups)
  • Grated Nutmeg (optional)
  • Grated Cinnamon (optional)
  • Martini glasses (or some plastic cups!)

Making the Drink:

  1. Place 2 shots of vodka into the shaker
  2. Add 1 cup of apple cider
  3. Include several ice cubes
  4. Cap the shaker and shake for a minute until the drinks are well mixed.
  5. Remove the cap and pour the Apple Cider Martini into two glasses.
  6. Add a small amount of grated nutmeg  and cinnamon over the Apple Cider Martini
  7. Serve to your guests. This recipe makes two drinks. Or 1 BIG one lol
