CHANGE IS GOOD!!! VICE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE RECAP

What’s up, world?
Long week. Thank GOD it’s Friday is all I can say!! Anyway- it’s been a good start to fall so far. Transitioning is never easy- even when you don’t have to do anything but watch the change happen. It always feels like you have to say good bye to something in order for something new to happen. I’m accepting it. Change is good.

Speaking of change…the VP Candidates went at it last night for their debate and Palin- surprisingly didn’t do a complete belly flop. She was a lot better than initially expected- especially after that suicide bombing with Katie Couric. Anyway- the great thing is that Palin’s performance really doesn’t matter at this point. McCain’s campaign has weakened and I think that the American public are not going to be force fed some easy bake oven politics from an Old Head and Betty Crocker. I personally don’t appreciate the hype and propaganda surrounding the Republican duo, either. It’s insulting that McCain has used so many media tricks and gimmicks to gas up his popularity- in particular the obvious reason for selecting no-namer- Sarah Palin as his running mate. Hillary’s out so he knows that not all her supporters are going to be on Team Obama just because he’s the only Democrat on the bill now. He figured he was going to veer those lost souls into his circle and capture their hearts with Miss Little House on the Prairie. I’m not falling for that shit. Women aren’t falling for it. We aren’t that stupid and naïve to think that just because you have a woman on your side you’re going to be more pro-woman. You want to use us to get in. Not me!!!

So the party line continues. I heard that Sarah underwent a severe boot camp training program to prepare for this debate. Like I said before- she was better than expected- but so rehearsed and concocted. She avoided questions and used terminology like “betcha” and winked a few times too! Hot pants. Anyway- her so-called “Reganisms” were another obvious marketing ploy in an effort to create comfort in her character to the public- reminding them of the days of good ol’ President Regan. Sorry Palin- you are NOTHING like Regan. Except for that “R.” I will not be swindled. I suggest you do you research too. Don’t be fooled by the façade because once you take a step inside- you’ll see it’s nothing but hollow and empty.
