Is it me or is McCain have more tricks up his sleeve than Elliot Spitzer? The Republican Presidential candidate shocked the world by plucking Sarah Palin off an iceberg in Alaska and now he’s being corny with this debate that’s supposed to take place tonight. McCain is claiming he has to be by the President’s side in this time of crisis in our country. News flash, John- we’ve been pretty screwed since your homeboy came in made a mess of the White House- 8 years ago. What exactly is McCain going to do for Bush? Is he the official ball holder when bush takes a leak? I don’t get it.

So- I think this whole “suspense” thing that McCain is doing is to generate a whole bunch of hoopla and media coverage to add a little more hype to his campaign. It seems like he’s about the shock value at this point. If he doesn’t debate with Obama tonight I’m really going to be a crab cake. I love how he even has all the networks in an uproar- constantly promoting the campaign which might not happen.
